Trainees working with laptops and shared workspaces inside the Hope of Life Community Innovation Hub in Chiang Mai

Community Innovation Hub

One place where learning, work and enterprise meet

The Hub brings our programmes under one roof — a practical, welcoming space where people train, collaborate, test ideas and start businesses.

Inside the Hub

Three centres, one shared platform

  • Women's Economic Empowerment Centre

A dedicated space for women to build enterprise skills, access finance literacy and leadership training, and bring products to market through shared production and selling space.

  • Hospitality, Culinary & Care Economy Academy

Practical training in the sectors that are hiring across Northern Thailand — kitchen and service skills, front-of-house, housekeeping, elder and child care — taught in real working environments.

  • Future Skills & Innovation Lab

Digital literacy, AI tools, design, content and online business skills, with mentoring and incubation support for people starting something of their own.

Enterprise opportunities

Space to start something

The Hub is also a launchpad. Participants can pilot a product, run a pop-up, take a first catering order or test a service with real customers — with coaching and shared facilities behind them, and a route into our social enterprise platform when they are ready to scale.

Our unique value proposition

What makes this model different

We earn, not only fundraise

Traditional grant cycles are short and unpredictable. Trading income gives our programmes a base that does not disappear when a funding round closes.

The business is the classroom

Trainees learn in operating businesses with real customers, real standards and real deadlines — the fastest route to employability.

Surplus goes back in

We are not distributing profit. Surplus is reinvested into training places, equipment, stipends and enterprise support for participants.

Employers are partners, not an afterthought

Because we operate commercially, we speak the same language as the businesses that ultimately hire our graduates.

Social Enterprise Platform

Eight services, one mission

Each line of business creates income for the mission and a training or employment opportunity for someone in our programmes.

  • Café & Bistro

A public café that doubles as a barista and service training floor.

  • Catering

Event and corporate catering delivered by culinary trainees and graduates.

  • Community Marketplace

A retail channel for women-led enterprises and local producers.

  • Training Academy

Fee-based and sponsored courses in hospitality, care and digital skills.

  • Venue & Events

Meeting, workshop and event space hire for partners and businesses.

  • Consultancy

Advisory on inclusive hiring, migrant workforce and community programmes.

  • Job Matching

Connecting trained, work-ready talent with employers who are hiring.

  • Corporate Partnerships

Sponsorship, CSR programmes and shared-value collaborations.

The reinvestment loop

Every baht earned comes back to the community

  1. 01

    Business Revenue

  2. 02

    Reinvestment

  3. 03

    Community Programmes

  4. 04

    Skills & Employment

  5. 05

    Greater Impact

Greater impact grows the enterprise, which funds more programmes — a loop, not a line.
